I was pretty certain I wanted to do something funny with a twist. The idea came from looking through a collection of images and seeing a mother with a baby which got me to thinking about breast feeding. And of course I was inspired by the Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater nursery rhyme. One idea was to show an adult sized Peter on a date, sitting at a table spooning the contents out of his date's pumpkin head while holding her hand. Maybe I'll do that one down the road. To give this an extra twist and tie in to breast feeding I hand painted some nectar, mother's milk coming out and spilling about. The hand was hand painted as well as some parts of the pumpkin.
