#124 Silent Burning New Image Details Source Image Panel Content... Silent Burning View votes/comments and other entries at PSC Panel Content... Contest Period: 10/02/2007 - 10/05/2007 The creative part of this piece focused on what the source image was telling me. It seemed to be a a very old snapshot of a family on its way to church. This revelation led me on a search for the terms "church, women, discrimination." One search result led me to the hilarious and pointed site "Why Won't God Heal Amputees" . I focused on the words "silent" and "submission" to guide me in creating a piece about discrimination against women in the church and about keeping them silent in different ways.
