Featuring the face of polygamist sect leader Warren Steed Jeffs and eleven of his gnomish wives. Jeffs was on the FBI's ten most wanted list until he was arrested in Arizona last August. Panel Content...Contest Period: 03/18/2007 - 03/21/2007 I had two ideas for this entry: The first was to depict the gnomes on vacation in Costa Rica; the second came to me after examining the source image and finding only one male gnome, thus Garden Gnome Polygamist was born. I decided to use an image of one of the FBI's former ten most wanted, Warren Steed Jeffs. One person didn't like my use of the word "Mormon" on the tiles since the LDS church had denounced polygamy for over a 100 years. Nevertheless there are sects today which base their religion on the orignal Mormon teachings.
