#126 The Thing I've Become New Image Details Source Image Panel Content... The Thing I've Become View votes/comments and other entries at PSC Panel Content... Contest Period: 10/13/2007 - 10/16/2007 Upon seeing the source image I decided to do something creepy. I drew some inspiration from John Carpenter's movie, "The Thing," a great Sci-Fi movie from the early 80's. I decided to smear my face with petro jelly to give it a slimey appearance and took several shots. The result was brought into photoshop, manipulated into shape, and then colored. The source image was distorted and modified before coloring. This image isn't quite what I envisioned. It is overworked with textures and has other problems, but it was a great learning process.
