Cover your ears.
We are all drowning in a cacophony of mobile phone rings, beeps, and conversations while landfills everywhere become the unlucky recipients of discarded and harmful technology. Sea of Noise takes this into account by poking fun at Verizon Wireless' television ad campaign "Can you hear me now" featuring "test man" who walks from point to point repeating the tag line at each stop. I've placed "test man" into a television with the updated tag line "Why can't you hear me?". Outside of the television a man is seen covering his ears while waves of cell phones seek to engulf and drown him.
