Puffy Pink Dream started out as two bees in a yellow VW bug who get lost navigating a labryinth of petals. I killed the idea because I didn't think it would work within the constraints of the image size PSC visitors first see. I decided to create a road adventure with an elephant in a cadillac with all sorts of landscape objects fashioned from flower petals. One thing led to another and before I knew it a drunk's wacky dream collided with the story, Horton Hears a Who. The car, elephant, and hat all come from istockphoto.com. The flower source was added to the car's surface. I think the most time consuming part of this project was all the photo research. Pink Puffy Dream placed 4th out of 55 entries. And, believe it or not, I didn't realize that the day this contest started it was Dr. Seuss' birthday.
